Today I would like to talk about the importance of self-care and wellness and how it will benefit our pets. You will strengthen your abilities as an effective animal communicator and pet communicator when you practice consistent self-care.
Often we humans who are animal lovers and caregivers pour our heart and soul into our pets…making sure they are healthy, thriving, and happy.
People often are go-go-going at a fast pace day in day out…..meeting and exceeding the needs of their pets but often not making time for their own self care.
Watch this video below to see me discuss more, or continue reading below:
I know many people whose animals eat better than themselves….and they will treat their pets to all sorts of luxury experiences and don’t make it a priority to treat themselves to nice things.
Because animals are sensitive to energy, they can pick up on what we feel and they often will notice we are off balance in a variety of ways….even when we are not consciously aware of our unbalanced energy.
There are many ways to practice self-care….whether it be productive exercise on a regular basis, meditation, balanced healthy nutrition, even spa treatments at home or at a local business.
Many people say they will get their exercise with their animals on walks or whatever….and that is an amazing way to meet one’s health needs while also providing healthy options for their animals…and bonding together while exercising.
But it is also perfectly okay and beneficial to have some “me time” where you step up your exercise routine and try something on your own, consistently and regularly.
Stepping away from the animals for an hour or two helps to diffuse separation anxiety in the animals because they learn how to be alone and not dysfunctionally dependent on their human….because they learn that the human is coming back and it is perfectly okay to spend a bit of time away from each other.
Our pets turn to us for leadership and if we are drained, stressed, taxed, and/or frustrated in any way….our animals will feel that.
When we take the time to do something with the intention of self-care for ourselves, it grounds and balances our energy and elevates our vibration to a level that our animals will feel and appreciate….further creating calm, grounding, and balance for them.
Epsom salt baths are an amazing way to clear one’s energy…..helping to remove toxins from the body to improve your health, and relieve stress. Epsom salt will also help clear away energy you’ve picked up from others that you feel you may be carrying in your energetic field. Now there are many businesses and spas that offer float tanks filled with water and Epsom salt where you can float for an hour and just be with yourself having a meditative experience.
Taking time to identify and honor your outlets is also very important….doing things that feed your spirit, make your heart sing, and elevate your soul.
I know from experience, attending to a lot of animals can be time consuming and we can get caught up in the dog walks, cleaning, training, feeding, etc and months and years go by where we lost sight of making sure we are honoring our other outlets that make us happy, aside from our relationships with our animals.
Whether it be taking a new class you’ve always dreamed about exploring, beginning an art project, journaling, and/or making time to get out and see new places, gather with friends for a night out, or even reading one of those books that has sat on your shelf for years…..beginning with setting an intention and taking a step to do something for yourself is movement in a balanced direction. Even scheduling it in your calendar so your time is blocked out for you and only you….this will help you to create a new healthy habit rhythm and elevate your life.
When you feel elevated, happy, balanced and fulfilled you shift your energy for the better….elevating your energetic leadership that your animals will feel, love, and appreciate.
Consider checking in with yourself, your wellness, your needs, and your spirit…and see if there is anything you can do to make some improvements and invest in yourself a bit more.
When we help ourselves even just a little bit….we help our pets because they follow our energetic lead….and we all deserve to feel vibrant, balanced, and fulfilled!
And if I can be of any additional assistance…whether it be through animal communication, helping you overcome behavior challenges with your pets, pet psychic questions, personal coaching for you to help you navigate life, and/or recording custom meditations for you…..I am more than happy to help!
